Mailchimp has quietly updated its pricing page for 2026, introducing higher monthly rates across its Essentials, Standard, and Premium tiers. The changes take effect on 1 April 2026 for new customers and 1 May 2026 for existing subscribers.
What changed?
The Essentials plan now starts at $15 / month (up from $13) for up to 500 contacts, while the Standard plan climbs to $20 / month (up from $17). Premium remains unchanged at $350 / month.
Who is affected?
Any account on a paid plan will see the increase applied at their next billing cycle after the effective date. Free-plan users are not affected — for now.
