Privacy Policy

The short version
This site does not use tracking cookies. We do not sell your data. We do not build advertising profiles. If you contact us by email, we keep that correspondence and nothing else.
What we collect
We collect standard server-side logs: IP address, browser type, and pages visited. These logs exist for security and uptime monitoring only. They are automatically deleted after 30 days and are never used to identify or profile individual visitors.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party tracking scripts. There are no cookies set on this site other than a session cookie used purely for admin authentication (which only activates if you log into the admin panel).
Contact forms and email
If you contact us via our contact page or directly by email, we store the content of your message and your email address in order to respond. We do not add you to any mailing list as a result of contacting us, and we do not share your contact details with third parties.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one and subsequently make a purchase, the vendor may set a tracking cookie in your browser — this is the vendor's cookie, governed by their own privacy policy, not ours. We have no access to or control over those cookies. See our affiliate disclosure for more context.
Hosting
This site is hosted on a VPS. Standard server access logs may be retained by our hosting provider in accordance with their own policies.
Your rights
Under GDPR, if you are in the EU or EEA, you have the right to request access to any personal data we hold about you, and to request its deletion. Because we hold almost no personal data (only email correspondence from people who have contacted us), these requests are straightforward to fulfill. Email hello@email-tools.me to make such a request.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We do not send policy-change emails.
